tractor will propel itself very slow forward
or reverse, but will not climb hill and no pulling abilty.
I replaced M.C.V.
new filter
adjusted dump valve 9/16

Did it just quit pulling, or is there a history that would help us determine the cause. A bad master clutch, bad TA clutch (and ramp rollers), and other hydraulic issues can cause it. Does the power steering work in both directions? We need more info. JimN

It slowly just quit pulling. No history. It always ran great.
Power steering works in both directions.
The T.A. seems to be working. When I move the lever there is a speed change.
I was moving hay, one in front and one in back, when I first noticed a problem. When I would start up a hill I would have to pull the T.A. back.
I had a guy look at it and drive it. He thought it was the M.C.V. I put a rebuilt one on.
When I was moving hay it would work for an hour and then it would quit pulling. After it sat overnight it would do it again the next day. After about ten days it will not even move a bale of hay.

Either bad clutch or bad t/a. I assume you have had pressure gauges put on the tractor to make sure the mcv is working properly.
