Hi guys...I am wanting to overhaul a 1952 Farmall M and convert it to run on E-85...if I do not install sleeves what size pistons and rings would I use? Super M? 450? other? what would be the CID? thanks for any help...

going sleevless is going to require a trip to the machine shop, some pistons from one of the custom places and a few other items more commonly used by pullers in big inch engines...

If it is a 248 block you can go with 4" ID liners and get 264 CID.. if it's a 264 motor you can go to 4 1/8 overbore liners and get 281 CID...

Also have the option of doing a stroker assy...

All it takes is $$$ above and beyond a regular rebuild kit...

To run on E85 I would recommend the highest static CR you can get and eliminating all rubber in the fuel system. Carburetor will need to be recalibrated also. You can do a few things to get some power back out of the fuel swap but it isn't nearly as easy as playing with a SBC etc...
