Super A Hydraulic Loader Install Help

Hello,

I have a nice 47 super A, it came with the front end loader not installed, I need a detailed list of directions for correct installation. Can anyone help me?

I have the frame, the supports (where it attaches to the tractor), the narrow bucket, the metal square gasket that attaches, and the round hydraulic reserve tank.

The frame is really heavy, any ideas on how one man may lift it and get it into the correct position for installation?

I thankyou very much!!

There is more than one loader that will fit a Super A.

You're not going to find a step-by-step. They didn't even have those when the loader and tractor were new. Basically, you just figured things out for yourself.

If you can figure out what kind of loader you have, or post some pictures, you might be able to get some pointers on what goes where. Shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.

There are many ways of dealing with the heavy parts. A come-along, some rope or chain, and a tree branch turns into a makeshift crane. Call some friends over to help with the lifting. Lift one end at a time with a floor jack. It can be done. Use your creativity, but think ahead and don't put yourself in a place where something can fall on you.

If what you have is a twin-draulic loader, I will warn you that the left-hand side main frame is A PAIN IN THE POSTERIOR!!!!! to get lined up on the final drive housing. All else is a piece of cake!
I will second the note from mkirsch. BE CAREFUL. It is too easy to get in there and do it yourself, but it ain"t worth it!

A week later you'll be taking it off.....so don't make any of your friends mad....you'll be needing them again.
