high range park lock

My 806 pooped out of high the other day and wouldnt shift back in. Just start grinding when the clutch was let back out. Got it home and pulled the cover off for the range transmission and found at some point the park paw had a tab broken of and it apeared it had kinked and striped a couple of teeth off of the gear it locks on. Is this the gear for high range or is its only purpose is to hold the tractor in park and what is the pn for the spring loaded parking brake? I got it split yesterday and need to get it back together shortly.

The gear that you have teeth knocked off of is the rev. driven gear and that gear is the last gear to come out and the first one that has to go in and it is a job to replace as for it jumping out of high look real close at the cam on the shifter and your detent spring and all the small rollers and the sifting fork . If you have it split between the speed trans mission and the range transmission look at the shifting collar and the end of the output on the speed trans mission for waer . When going back together use a heavy rubber band around the input bearing on the range transmission to help hold the rollers tight as you can and will knock them off when going back together . Do not worry about removing that rubber band as in time it will just go away
