I have a 1586 last year we had the TA repaired
cence then we had problems. The 3 point hitch is slow the remotes are slow, and they chatter like it is out of oil. Also draft does not work
Changed filter twice, new pump just before TA repair.

Any pointers???

Thanks, Dan

Does your filter have what looks like aluminin paint in the filter? Could be brakes that are bad and are plugging you hydraulic filter restricting fluid flow..happened to my 1566

Over fill the rearend by 5 gallons.

The suction tube oring may have failed or not seated properly when they did the TA.

It will not hurt a thing and save opening up the rear end to fix, if this is what the problem is.

Worth a try.

First, do you have the PFC hydraulics or the older gear pump system? If you have the PFC system thats a differant animal, head to your CIH dealer. If you have the gear type read on. Does it improve for a while after the filter changes? If so them you need to find the source of whats plugging the filter. If not, do you have problems with steering and brakes? You state you replaced a pump, was it the rear one? I'am going thru a similar problem with my 756, air in the rear system but the front pump is unaffected. There is a suction tube between the rear pump and filter housing that has to be installed a certain way to prevent damaging seals. Also the suction pickup tube can crack or oring leak but overfilling should fix that. Let us know what you find, I know my 756 has me puzzled as nothing I've done so far has improved the problem.
