any one have any info on the farmall m with propane. got one but looking for web sites or anything with info. thanks

ricky c, Ms didn't come from the factory on LP. All Ms that are on LP are conversions. Look at the tag on your M it will have an (X1) suffix to the Serial #.The X1 means it was a gasoline tractor originally.
Some are done very well, used IH compoents and look factory. While others are just a piece meal mixture of compoents, Yes they work but look realy bad. Call me and I will visit with you about what I know and help you all I can. My # is 512-577-3837!

Check www.alternatefuels.com also ebay. google propane or L-P gas motor fuels. I have a strong farm stock 400 on L-P also 720 propane GOOD LUCK ILA

Do not know much about them but have put a lot of hours on Ms and a 400 on propane as wll as a couple of pickups. The only draw back I see is fueling and they can be hard to start in cold weather. My pickups would start as well as gasoline engine in any weather but worked at large plant for years that had at least 50 propane fork lifts and if you ever left one of the fork lifts out all night at temperatures below freezing you could forget about starting it until you pulled it inside and warmed it up. The fork lifts all had 10 gallon aluminum tanks that could be removed and carried to fueling station if you ran out and this seems like good way to fuel tractor unless you are running it long hours.
