Unidentified Garden Tractor

We were shopping in an antique store the other day and came across a small grey 4 wheel tractor with a pull-start. There was no name on the tractor, but there was a symbal on the front of the tractor of an upside down V. The people at the antique store didn't have any idea what it was and when we asked about a price they basically said they had no idea what to charge for it. If anyone can help me identify this tractor, I would appreciate. Maggie

Antique dealers are worse than used car salesmen. If they want to buy something from you they will never make an offer, they will ask you "how much do you want?". If they can score something worth $1000.00 for $15.00 then they will buy it, same goes for selling, if not sure what traffic will bear they will TAKE OFFERS, waiting for some sucker to come along. It's an interesting game , but not for the faint of heart.

im not sure of the emblem, if you dont have a picture, you might try posting over on the garden tractor forum somebody there might know what it is and what its worth, now you have me courious what it is too

If you will send me your email address, I will let you know if I can find out more about it. I am going back down to the shop tomorrow and try to take a couple pictures. I can arrange to send you one too if they will allow me to take them. Margaret Eastman

Maggie, Look closely at BobS response. Don't deal with antique dealers as if they are honorable. In this particular situation, offer $20.00 for the tractor and you will find out in a hurry what is on the dealers mind.
Without knowing more about the item thats about all the advice I can give.
Good Luck,
Dell
