HELP - Need Parts for a IH Belly Mower

I have a IH-140 with an International Harvester 60" 3 blade belly mower. Can anyone help in locating a source of parts for this mower.
It is not Woods parts compatible.

Its probably a Danco I have one also dont know where to get parts got belts at Napa.

Got one on a 184 lowboy and parts have always been available at CaseIH. Might have to order them though.

It sounds like a Danco C-3. I have gotten parts for mine at the local IH Case dealer. Just priced a spindle shaft 474152R92 $175.67 seemed way high to me, I'm hunting a used one. Buy my belts and bearings for it at a local bearing house and blades at a small engine/lawnmower parts house.

Thanks for your reply. It looks like I will need the spindle shaft and the part that bolts under the mower to the shaft, that holds the blade - for the center blade.

I am certain these parts will be pretty scarce used.

All three spindle assemblies are the same, with different pullies on the top. The part number I mentioned is for the spindle shaft which includes the part that the blade attaches to.

Thanks for the additional information. I intend to contact a local Case/IH dealer today concerning the shaft. Do you have or know where there is a IH Parts Book on this mower?

I located 16 pages of a scanned owners manual on the C-3 and converted it into a 16 page PDF file. If you know a location of a parts book, I would appreciate it. Also if you would like a copy of the Ownere Manual, I would be happy to send you the file.

It is not much help in identifying parts but it did confirm that the C-3 is the model mower I have.

I hope you have better luck than I did with my C-4. In the lonely days before the internet, I had to junk it due to lack of availability of parts and high prices when they were available. The IH dealer (really still learning after Case acquisition) was not much help; many parts were just not available. Maybe today it is different.

At the outset I was not certain even what mower I had. Through the help of this group, I have determined that it is a C-3.

Hopefully I will be able to locate the parts.

Also, I have located a owners manual and made it into a PDF file for the mower and have it available to anyone that might want/need it. It is not much help on parts but will help in identification.
