mounted plow for C Farmall

To Georgeky. We recently discussed mounted plow for c Farmall. I purchased a manual for a 294 mounted plow. It showed a plow that was a quicker hookup than my plow. Part of the mounting was left on the tractor. I'm still trying to figure out what model my plow is. Any help appreciated. DTdhanks Bernie Steffen

Not sure what that is showing as I don't have a manual for mine. I do have a C-294 plow and it all mounts as one unit. My uncle has a C-295 and the front bail and rear rockshaft can be left on the tractor after the plow is removed. There was also a Canadian version of a quick hitch type plow built in Hamilton but don't know the model number. I will try to get a pic of my plow but not sure when I can since it is a dads place 50 miles away. I may go get it this week.

At any rate your plow should mount directly to the rear axle brackets and the torque tube right behind the bell housing.

After thinking on it a bit maybe my plow will unhitch from the frame. I never done it though. I always installed and unhooked from tractor as a complete unit. I bought it with the 1949 C tractor it came with in 1975 and have plowed a lot with it but not lately. Seems I do remember a pin in the end of the plow beam where it is attached to the frame.

GEorgeky. This is as I suspected. I think someone misprinted the manual I have. Its a 295 manual with a 294 cover on it. I"m pretty sure. From what I can gather, they designedthisas forerunner to the fast hitch. Unhook the plowhe fast way then other implements, mower and such would fit on the same bracketsThanks for the answer.
