Hi all, I was wondering about the PPG paint code for the red on my B Farmall and i need to replace the seals on the axle by the trans and final drives and was wondering if anyone knows the part numbers for these and the procedure to replace them. Thanks for the help. Brent

Paint code is up to somebody else but you can find your part numbers using the link that should be in this post. You should have a service manual for your tractor if you are going to do work on it. It should provide you with the information you need.
Case IH parts search

Found this in the archives here as posted by TDK...

"The IH color for pre-'49 tractors is IH# 50. Cannot be bought from IH anymore. Can be mixed at local paint store- PPG-#70019 ; Sherwin-Williams # 224; Dupont # 7110. I use Case/IH # 2150. It is the post-'49 paint. Looks really good on the old tractors. I also use Case/IH # B17565 Silver/Argent for rims. Use NAPA Econo-Body 15117 Super Gloss hardner with both colors. Alot depends on how much you intend to spend. Case/IH paint is $35-$40 per gal. and has extremely close match between batches. Mixed paint is "much" higher and color match depends on person that mixes it. It's your choice. " HTH

IH 50 crosses to 7410, not 7110, PPG 70019 is correct will take TDK's word for Sherwin Williams, post 1949 is 1102b, followed by 201 in 1958 (introduction of 460/560), followed by 2150 in 1961 (introduction of 404/504).
