HEY BERNARD,ON MY 485 WITH THE THE HICUP IN THE 3 PT LIFT,YOU SAID TO CHECK THE CONTROL LEVER AND THE RESPONSE TO LOWER.WELL,IT LOWERS WITH ANY MOVEMENT OF THE LEVER,EVEN A 1/4 OF INCH MAKES IT MOVE.YOU SAID THIS MEANS THE DROP VALVE IS TOO TIGHT AND CAUSES THE HICUP.OK,WHAT IS THE DROP VALVE,WHERE IS IT,AND HOW DO I ADJUST IT?IAPPRECIATE YOUR HELP,THANKS,MARK.
 
Hi Mark, in the center of the hitch valve, it have a steel ball and a needle you can adjust to have a move of 1 to 1 1/inch on the lever to lower the arm of the hitch. You can access to the needle adjustment by the cover on the top of hitch cover, at the right side of the seat. With a allen key, unscrew the needle, few at the time,start the engine and check. Make sure do not drop your tool in the rear transmission. Bernard le mecano
