does anyone know where i can get brake bands for a w9-wd9

I need one a couple years ago and ended up with one out of a salvage yard. If your metal band is still good I would look into having it re-lined. Good luck.

Crane and heavy equipment repair shops reline winch brakes. They have the material, and might be fast and reasonable. JimN

I got one at a salvage yard in Bridgeport NE a couple years ago. We looked at several before we found a left brake. Guy said the right ones are usually wore out from going in circles always turning to the right. Have one for parts now that someone had replaced the right brake with a newer style disc brake and still has the old band brake on the left. Don"t think that was factory.
