Does the loaded tire have a special style of valve core? My brother has one that is leaking and I have spares for a standard valve stem, but want to know if they will work in his valve stem or not.(WD45)
Thank you
Steve

Yes, there is a special valve core for liquid-filled tires. The standard one will probably work to stop the leak temporarily, but personally I would replace it with the correct valve core as soon as possible.

Stop by a dealership that repairs tires and pick up a new valve stem for fluid tires.

Rotate the tire so that the valve stem at the top of the tire. Jack up the tire to take the load off. Let out the air then replace the valve stem.

Thank you both for the replies. I will try to remember to get one for him tomorrow. and charge him double.LOL
