I have a 1951 C that I completely rebuilt. It starts and runs great but it has a zenith carb and it leaks from the bottom of the bowl. I have reset the float level and it still leaks. It gets worse when the temperature is hotter. The tractor could not start and run any better. Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be appreciated. I

A warped gasket seating area can cause leaks. Check carefully to see where it leaks from. If the bowl seal, flat sanding it on glass with 320 paper will get it straight. Look at the gasket to see if some areas are pinched while others are not. JimN

Check for a hairline crack at the bottom of the carb bowl.

Contamination in the fuel can be keeping the float valve from completely closing.
