Super C oil pressure

My supper c was running oil pressure in the middle range right when you started it and held. Today I noticed it was below half mark. I am wondering if oil pump screen might be the problem changed oil a few days ago and put new filter also. Thanks for any help

Lighter weight oil will lower oil pressure. David.................

If you just changed the oil and filter. I'am sure you have though of this did you use the same oil weight and the same filter as was in it.
If you used a different filter or weight oil that could be it.

Just bought tractor put 30 wt in and same filter who knows about oil. Man that owned it is dead.

The primary culprit on a good running Farmall is the oil pump cover. They can warp and leak pressure. The change you have seen is probably differences in oil consistency. If it is up anywhere near the middle, it is good to go. JimN
