The shaft comes with the cover. No need to remove the nut or the cap. If the cover won't budge once you have all of the bolts out it's because the splines are stuck in the clutch plate. And if they are stuck hard enough all the king's horses ain't gonna break it loose. Good luck, you may have to be creative.

On my Regular they got in through the timing hole on the front side of the bellhousing, messy little creatures. :?

Ya like cowman said you will likely have to get creative to get that out of there. The one on my parts Regular was so bad from the mice that when the cover and shaft finally did come out it brought the center of the pressure plate with it.

Heavy Hauler,I had the same problem with a F30,I took a tourch and melted/burnt the clutch cover apart, with the help of a digging bar and sledge hammer, then reached in with a extension and scocket and removed the presure plate bolts and removed every thing in one peice. These parts can be found fairly easy

Remove all the bolts on the bell housing cover. The trick is to spin the entire cover and unbolt the pressure plate bolts through the inspection cover. Had to do this on several F-20's and then just pull the entire unit as one piece. I also keep the clutch pedal hooked up and pushed down on the pedal to help pop the cover loose. Let us know your progress.
