H Clutch noise

When I rebuilt the engine I put a new clutch assembly in also. When I started it the only noise was from the trany.I replaced the main shaft pilot bearing and trans driving front ball bearing. Now I have noise coming from the clutch.Did I do something wrong when I reassembled the drive shaft. Thanks for your help.

Did you replace the throwout bearing? if they go bad they can scatter and you are either stuck or stuck in gear

Yes I put a new throwout bearing in.I forgot to say in the original post that it makes the same noise with the clutch in or out.
Thanks again,Bill

That pesky coupling may be connected with the middle plate turned around If so it will make weird noises for ever. It should make the clutch shaft move forward, not backward, when assembled. There are pictures on this sight (search for) showing that common error. I would put in H coupling noise. JimN
