Best IH loader for Farmall 340

Just want some input here. Looking for a loader for a Farmall 340 and would like to go with a IH. Looking for the best model (load capacity, bucket size). Do want full hydraulics.

Next best would be other brands that would fit.

Kenneth, the IH 2001 loader was made for your Farmall 340. The manure bucket is 40"; same for the material bucket = 13 cu. ft. There was also a manure fork extension, widening the unit for snow, light grain, etc. Loader w/mechanical dump - lift capacity = 1,150 lbs. break-out capacity = 2,080 lbs. Loaders w/hydraulic dump - lift ability = 1,000 lbs. and break-out capacity = 1,620 lbs. A parking leg, snow blade, tine cover and spill guard were also available. This info from the Operators Manual dated 8-5-66. Does your 340 have power steering; wide or row-crop? Where are you located? Hope this info helps. I plan on a couple tractor rides for my Farmall 340 this weekend. Have a safe weekend.

Just moved the tractor and noticed the loader frame is marked: 140IH 340I.
