IH Cub 1974 yellow and white

Hello, Had one donated to local FFA chapter and can not find a parts book for it. Going by the serial number I think it is a '74 model. It has no model number on it anywhere. We are trying to get it running to use. It came with 5 implements.
Any info where to find a book on it or to get the model number for it? Thanks

Cub IS the model of the tractor. It is a Farmall Cub, period. Made from 1947 to 1979.

If you can't find a parts book for it, you ain't looking very hard. I just threw "farmall cub parts" into Google, and it completed the sentence by suggesting "manual." First link that popped up was farmallcubDOTinfo, which according to the blurb on the front page, has every manual made for the Cub scanned in and available online.

Took me all of 30 seconds.

Just goes to show that a little effort can really pay off big.

I would check out www.farmallcub.com or www.external_link both are good resources. Also, the easy way to check the year is to look at the casting numbers.. you will usually see a letter of some kind and you can cross-reference that letter to those sites.

Your local Case-IH dealer can get one for you, or, you can got binderbooksdotcom. Binder is the ONLY Case-IH authorized seller of those manuals, and their prices are not bad.
