I am looking for distributor shaft bushings
for 3444 international loader tractor gasoline 4 cyl motor thanks dave 800 684 7682

I tried for years to locate a supplier of distributor bushing for the IH distributor with no luck. Main problem is is porous bronze and cannot be reamed as that will destroy it's porosity I was told. Now I don't really need any but still would like to find a couple.

Suppliers such as McMaster have the sintered bronze stock, and it's no trick at all to finish out a bushing on a lathe.

Your local NAPA or Ace Hardware will also have bushings. You do not have to have sintered bronze, you can use solid brass with an oil hole. Oil it daily if you are working it full time.
