I still do not have any power steering when I turn to the right. I put a gage on the lower rear port on the MCV. It carries 300 psi without turning the wheels. If I turn the wheel to the lh steering stop it has 1,700 psi. If I turn it to the right, it only has 300 psi. I would guess that it is the steering valve that is behind the battery. Has anyone had problems with one of these before? Will taking it off and cleaning it possibly fix it? What normally fails on them?

TV was right on the TA and I adjusted the linkage last night.

Ok then check the pilot valve as that is one other place to look as it maybe sticking or have a broken spring can't stay as i got hay to mow and dew is off so check that that is the valve that sets ontop of the speed transmission with the lines going up to the steering motor and to the ft end
If it is not that then it has to be in the steering motor Sure would be alot easier if i was there as we would have had ya up and running this magic box is ok but not like being there

Finally got to the bottom of it. The retainer that holds the spring and (2) triangle shaped washers came loose, bent one of the washers and kept the valve from moving enoughto let pressure turn the wheels to the right. Some o-rings, a new washer and I should be back is business. Have you ever had that one happen before?
