Farmall bolts

First, it would help if you said which tractor this is for. I know Cubs use bolts with a tapered neck, but they're 5/8".

Second, and this really isn't directed at you specifically, but I'm getting sick of people using this forum as a forsale/wanted/how-much-is-it-worth dumping ground. This site provides classified ads and picture ads in a separate section. Read the site rules, they say no forsale/wanted/how-much-is-it-worth posts. What makes it worse is when you say, "I know this isn't the place for this but..." If you know this isn't the place for it, then DON'T POST.

I'm just venting here. I have neither the authority nor the desire to play net cop. It just irks me when people flaunt the rules, no matter what they are, and I occasionally need to get it off my chest or I will take it out on my poor defenseless tractors. We get access to this site for free, and we should show respect to the provider by following the rules that the provider lays out. If the provider says we have to wear pink tutus while posting, wear a pink tutu. If you disagree with the rules, go away.

Must be talking about the little offsets... My Super A uses studs in those holes and the nut has the bevel on one side...

Is this what you are talking about, a "countersunk head" bolt or a "wheel bolt"?

3/4 inch NC thread? What length? If no luck finding them, shoot me an email and I'll reply with a source. (NOTE, for the Forum Police, the source IS NOT me!)

Well, Well, I apoligise for abusing your site. I am new here and didn't know about posting some other place. You won't have to worry in the future bacause I'll go elsewhere for info. I really believe that if you thought about it that could have been said in a nicer way. I am only to guess that thats the attitude of the people on here. BYE.

The pink brings out the blue in my eyes, thank you very much. And part of my main gripe is the " I need a part for my tractor" but don't tell us the model tractor or have an idea what the part is called or what is used for.

Oh. Well, since you were "just venting", it's fine to talk to people like that - sort of like the people who irk you saying "I know this isn't the place for this".......
It irks me when people go out of their way to be rude. No need for it.

I wouldn't put too much stock in some of the banter around here John. A few folks need to switch from whitey tighteys to boxers...

good luck finding what you need...

The P/N is 351679R1 for the Cub bolts as you describe. external_link has 18 in stock @ $7.37 ea... You can also try your nearest IH dealership...

Well if you dont have the authority or the desire then why do you run your mouth? Here is a person that is obviously is new to this great informative website and instead of asking "hey bud what kind of machinery you working on" you gotta whine. Well if I want to listen to whining I will put down my wrenches and spend time with the wife! Am I right? I think an appology is in order. Everyone chime in please and tell me what you think!
