I've got a C with a 153 engine-where can I find info on the engine-I understand this engine could be a combine engine-did it come in any tractors? It runs great, want to keep it that way. I put a new carb on it before I realized it was a 153(yes I'm embarrassed)so have a carb for a 113 on it,runs just fine. what's the proper rpms? thinking of doing some pulling, any info or advice will be welcomed. thanks

they were in the 203 combine. 504 tractors (gas) have 153 but it is a different block wont fit in a C. combine 153 is what you have. quick way to make your C into an H.

Gator, The 153 was in the C when I got it, I"ve read on this page how to do the swap, something about a pilot hole being drilled but I don"t know exactly. I may have read it on the Farmall forum or the pulling forum. I believe it is more common to replace the 113 with a 135. Keep asking, someone on this forum will usually come up with the answer.

Gator, I found the info. Go to the farmall discussion page, then click archives, then in the search box put "farmall c 153 engine"-search in entire site-on the second page there is some discussion on the engine swap- good luck
