856 Clutch question

I picked up an 856 last year after I sold my 806. The question is should the clutch act like it has 2 speed engagement? If you have the clutch pushed in..as you let it out the tractor seems to start moving normally as the clutch engages. Then as the clutch pedal is let all the way out it"s like the T/A was shifted forward. Everything seems normal but it feels like some sort of 2 level engagement. Is this right? The 806 wasn"t like this and I know the 2 tractors are close to the same.

On the double shifting while letting out the clutch the answer is NO you clutch and dump valve are out of adjustment and you need to look back intot the arcives on my way of adjusting the clutch transmission brake and the dump valve now if by chance your tractor had a hyd assist clutch then i will have to go over that with you at a later date as this morning i do not have the time as the sun is up the fields are dry and i got more tractors down around here then i want . Now the free travel of the std clutch pedal on a 856 is11/16ths of and inch from the back of the clutch pedal by the arrow to the ft edge of the platform , the rest is the same as i have outlined in past posts.you will need and extra set of hands or i should say feet. Later i got to run for now

Thanks tractor vet..I found a post with your adjustments. I"ll post back after I get it done and let everyone know how it turned out.
