Light Switch

I need to rewire mi light switch. I have completely disassembled and cleaned it. The only problem is there was no wiring on it, so I'm not sure where to put anything. I know the filed resistor is missing. This is a 4 position switch that I am using as a 3 position switch, just for lights. Where would input nad light connection go?

The hot wire to the switch comes from the ammeter, off the same stud as the wire running back from the generator. It connects to the ear hanging over the edge at upper left in your picture, at the extreme end of the fuse. Wire to the headlights runs off of the screw holding the lower left end of the light resistor. Rear light, if you have one, shows in the wiring diagrams as coming off the upper left of the two screws that don't appear to be connected outside to anything else.
