2090-2096 tractors

I see a lot of 2090-2096 case tractors for sale with 4-7k hours for 12-24k dollars. I was wondering if anything had to be done to these tractors at this hour range..thank you
 
Frankly, just because some of them were painted red towards the tail end of their production doesn't make them Internationals. Have you checked the Case forum?
 
john: Are you telling us your thinking of paying 12-24K for 23-24 year old tractors. I'll go one further than Kirsch, don't stop at the Case forum, check out the fool's forum.
 
now...you wonder why i buy deere..geesh...Take a look at the price on a 1983 4440 sometime..10k hours...23k dollars...now if you guys are through with me..ill be back in the deere forum
 
John: Any man who pays more than $5,000. for a 100+ hp two wheel drive tractor, should check in as I suggested. I don't care whether it is IH, Case, Deere, NH or any other make. Most inefficient tractors built since the Fordson.
 
I think the 4440 was one of the best Deere made, however, I did put over 10K in trans and differential on one of them on one of the last jobs I did before I retired and the guy just kept saying, well, it has done a lot of work.

What's with the attitude? You come into an IH forum and ask questions about CASE tractors... What were you expecting?
 
what do i expect? i expect a little common courtesy. I expect not to be talked down to. I expect not to be called a fool. Forgive me for thinking that maybe someone in here could give me an answer. Calling me names before you even know what im going to use the tractor for? I think you two need lessons in manners
 
You might try talking a bit of COMMON SENCE, it will COMMAND RESPECT. I meant what I said, and will repete it. Anyone paying more than $5,000. for a 20+ year old 100+ horsepower 2 wheel drive tractor, and I don't care what make, NEEDS HIS HEAD EXAMINED.
