Barely have the hydraulice to raise the planter and cycle the markers.

Allan, Sorry, I didn't have the extra fuel to plow. I should have got more of that no-til plot in the photo.

I put 150 lbs of urea fertizer in each of those pesticide hoppers. Have both valves almost wide open. It helps hold the planter down, for min til, and "strip fertilzes" at the rate of about 60 lbs per acre, which would probably be 100 lbs broadcast.(36 inch rows) I just do food plots for wildlife so 80 bu corn is adequate. Plots are either 6 acres or 2.5 acres. Seven of them.
You can't get those hoppers clean enough when you are done though. And store them INSIDE when not in use.

Do those things come with pontoons? Here in central Illinois, very little ground is not mud! Thinking about switching to rice!

You're JD 7000 is a bit "nicer" than my ole IH 455...

Just use this setup for sweet corn and some indian corn... Just so I can justify having it...

Looks like deer and coon country to me. Well, you will always have dandelion greens to eat, lol.
