F-14 fuel pump

Is there supposed to be oil in the bottom of the F-14 fuel pump. Never saw any before, now I just changed the oil and it"s dripping.

No, there is not supposed to be oil in the fuel pump.

what do you mean by bottom, the sediment bowl? no. where is it dripping? the lever pin?you could have oil leaking there as it is exposed to engine oil.

Leaking out of the cover under the lever mechanism. It"s fresh engine oil. Just wondering why I never noticed it before. If it"s supposed to be there I won"t worry about it. Maybe needs a new gasket.

just replace the gskt. and you will be fine.

Yes, it is supposed to have oil at the mechanism. Just replace the cover gasket and you'll be fine.
