Can a model A front end be used on a model BN and if it can what is the difference between that and a regular model A? Thanks for your help.

An A is an offset tractor. The rear axles are different length. The front axle is also offset to the right, and pivoted off center. It is possible (and has been done many times). The whole front casting is needed. It will require steering system changes as well. The wheels will not follow the same track unless modifications are made there as well. JimN

A bn is an offset tractor. The standard B only the driver is off to the side. The whole front casting would need to be replaced in order to put an a front end on it. The grill may also be different. The motors are the same so it should mount up if you got a different front casting.

The BN is not offset and you can put the A front assy on a BN and set the wheels to track with the rears but when you turn the left wheel wont turn the same as the right one but it will work and has been done some as some believe that makes them more stable so the tractor wont upset as easy its your tractor do as you please but it will work. You mite not need the front wheels to track with the rear. What is your reason for asking.
