Fordson F 1884????

I could use some help. My Dad had several Farmalls and one Case. He acquired many spare parts, including a hydraulic pump for a H that I was hoping would fit on the M....appears no soap. What I need help with is he bought a third member for some reason that does not look anyting like Farmall or Case. It does not appear to fit either tractor and I can only find a stamp on the left side down from the gear shift that says Fordson F1884. Any idea what this third member is for? Thanks
