Int 340 crawler

My crawler needs a pinion gear part number 306-578-r1 and i would like to know if the pinion used on farmals H & M are the same part number... thank you

Im sure someone else will reply as well but you will likely need one out of another 340 crawler, or possibly a 340U. I tried to search theat part number on CaseIHs website but it didnt recognize it, but it could be that the 340 crawler is not in their online database.

hey john looks like you are in sherburne??

I am close in plymouth, I have a pinion , still in the machine if you are interested, I can take off the housing and get it out easy enough,
