Did all the trouble shooting tips you guys suggested and determined the generator did not work. Took it in to Rogentien's at Marengo Iowa and had it rebuilt. They also adjusted the new regulator. Man, does the whole thing purr now!! I also reversed the leads on the amp meter and that works like it should too. Some days sure go good. Thanks for the help.
