I recently took a super C on a trade for regraveling a driveway.Overhauled the engine, added new lights along with some other odds and ends.Took it out the other day and did some bush hogging and noticed oil seeping out of the left brake, got new seal and oring and reasembled. Thougt I would check the breather on the rearend housing to make sure it wasn't plugged, didn't want to blow another seal.Guess what, couldn't find one.Did it have one originally.Thank's for your info and time.

Many old tractor trannys "breath" through the area where the gearshift enters the transmission. Don't know specifically about your's, though!

There aint one. You dont need one thats why they didnt put one on. The tranny doesent build any pressure when it runs so why need a breather. Like other post says only place thats not tight would be the shift lever. Letting set outside can get moisture in from rain and snow.
