IHC Wrench Numbers

Hi,I would like some feedback on IHC Numbers... My eyes are not as good, but today a junkman let me look at a few of his rusty wrenches I made out what looked like IHC in a small circle. Then each wrench had a number without any fraction number indicating the wrench size. Could some one tell me more about these unusual wrenches thanks Woody.

Sounds like Whitworth wrenches to me.

Hi Turklilley, Do you know where I can see a photo of a Whitworth wrench ? Do you have any photos that you can show of a Whitworth wrench? After I read your post I tried in vain to see a Whitworth wrench but all I can see are shiny bright chrome Wrenches. Thanks for all your help Woody.

Many of the IH wrenches were specific to one or a few uses. They would have carried an IH part number, may not have had a size marking.
