Farmall front rockshaft arm/lift link hook-up

Not sure on this one so here it goes, How do the rockshaft pins on the left side front rockshaft arms connect to the lift link on a Super A? Does the rockshaft pin go in from the backside and thru the hole on the lift link and then thru the outer hole on the rockshaft arm? What about the cotter pin? The pin does not go in all the way as it bottoms out against the sheave on the rockshaft arm. Almost seems a hole should be drilled through that sheave/plate on the rockshaft arms and the cotter pin sits in between the sheaves of the inner and outer rockshaft arms? Thanks for some direction on this one.

Attaching a plow or cultivators or? Pins go in from the outside... If they have been replaced over the years they may be the incorrect length. If you twist the retaining plate 90 degrees and insert the pin, it should not protrude past the back side of the U of the rockshaft so as to interfere with anything. Twist the retainer 90 degrees again and lock it... Reckon you know that though... The retainers are spring loaded from the center and have two holes, one at either end that are smaller than the pin head...

If you are installing a plow and are putting the lift link on the left side I assume you have a left hand plow?

I know it isn't the side you are looking for but, either way all of the pins go in and are retained the same way in all 3 rockshafts off of the touch control...

Thanks for the reply and picture. That clears it up. I took a rockshaft pin from the right side and thought I could use it on the left, but it is clearly different than what should be used. My book shows IH #350142R1 for the pin. That pin has a larger head and does not use a cotter pin which I see is the one I need to get from the dealer. Thanks again on your help
