IH 56 / 455, etc planting depth adjustment

Anyone have the diagram handy that shows which hole gives what planting depth on the 56 series planter?

Rootsy,
The planting depth will be different with different soil
conditions. Put an inch board under a runner while setting in
the shop, adjust the press wheel with the planter down, go drop
it in the ground and see where you are. No such answer as shop
setting working in the field.

Soil conditions can change from one end of the field to the other end maby 2 or 3 times in a 1/2 mile run thru the field so on the older planters it is impossible to reset the depth for every soil change. This has been my experence. Armand

swagged it... tested the drop spacing.... and put some sweet corn in the ground... she and the 560 go well together... Now if I could find a manual...
