Hey folks,
flying into JFK Wednseday, picking up a rental car and heading to SE OH. What is the nicest route to take as far as landmarks and scenery? Not in a big hurry. I'll be going back to MD on rt 50 so will have my dose of WV  . Been 20 years since I've been to the States and wasn't on a schedule so would like to spend some time looking for arrowheads. Any historic laws against that these days? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, as NJ native, I'd suggest you buzz through the Garden State via I-80 and exit via the Delaware Water Gap. The Appalachian Trail crosses I-80 right by the river and there are great trails in the parks on either side (PA or NJ) to climb the mountains (real small ones) on either side for some really amazing views. Arrowheads have been pretty well picked clean, but this was definitely Indian territory. NJ has some pretty amazing back roads in the Northwest, but I wouldn't know how to write them down for an outsider to follow East to West. Have a good trip!

Dave,if you cross RT 50 between Clarksburg WV and Winchester VA theres a tourist stop somewhere in the middle at a old country store that has a collection of old tractors,Most of them arent running but have just been drug in there for people to look at,several rare peices
