I use my 806 for planting, with Hiniker cab. I am ready to update to air cond. , would probably be easiest to switch cabs or was there an A/C unit for these? Would a cab from a 66 series fit with a little modification on the cowel? I think they were better cabs, would have to be a lot quieter, I have to wear ear guards in mine so I can hear myself think. What do you guys think , should update to a newer tractor like a 5088 but I would hate to get rid of my 806. Cant keep it around and buy another

Update to an 86 series won't be as much to boot as trying to replace the cab and getting air to work on that 806.

Just the parts and labor for a tractor that already have air needing repair can run into $2000+ not including cost of cab and what it will take to mount a compressure on the 806. Something like a 886-986 will be what would replace your 806. There is one for sale on this site on photo adds for $7025 if I remeber right and if your 806 is in any type of shape you should be able to get $5000 out of it. For the differance it isn't worth the labor.
Thanks again chucky
