436 DT engine mods.

Hi All! I own a 4166 International tractor with the 436 DT engine. I would like to get a bit more power out of it and am thinking of turning up the injector pump. I have not gathered enough information as of yet to do it and am looking for suggestions.
I have noticed that the 1460 and 1480 IH combines use the 436 DT and are rated at 170 and 190 hp respectively. I am curious as to what the differences in those engines and mine are.
Any thoughts or ideas.

With the DT414, 436, 466 family of engines the engine wasn't the limiting factor. They do just fine turned up.

A lot of farmers turned up the 1066/1086 only to find out that the transmission didn't hold up.

On snoopy (named for the nose on the 2+2 tractors) they recomended not to put on duals as the repurposed 1066 transmissions wouldn't hold up.

That said the 4166 is a entirely different tractor so someone else will have to comment on the trans.
