IH balance 100 mower guards

We buy our guards from CNH - they don't have ledger plates, they are just "swather" guards and last about three or four years before needing replacement.

I've also seen the New Holland haybine guards used on IH mowers...

No one uses the single gaurds anymore. The doubles will run you about 9 bucks. Just look for the high back guards. Then you will need the hold down clips and ledger plates ans sections. It anit cheap but a ne wRouse mower likr the 100 runs OVER 4 grand.

Last time I checked about five years ago, a new Rowse 9' trailer mower with an IH head was $5750...

(quoted from post at 04:34:01 05/02/09) How many did you buy?

GW

None. I already have a good working 100 trailer mower and an 1110 mounted mower. Would take about 1/2 day to get the 120 semi-mount mower ready to go, and I also have a 115 mounted mower either for spare parts or it could be used with a few days of work on it...

A decent 1100 usually goes for under $1500 at auction, if you can find one.

(quoted from post at 17:35:44 05/04/09) If you use doubles how do you cover the half guard? I think my 7 foot bar has 27 guards.

A double-guard goes in the chop saw and comes out as a single!
