Hi Mitch,

I had that problem so I just ordered myself another one. It was from nnalert Tractor Parts. You can purchase just the parts that you need or the whole thing. I purchased all as I wanted to make sure I had the correct parts. Hope this helps. Cost $34.01

If it's right under the fuel tank, that's what's called a sediment bowl. The float bowl is the bowl of the carburetor.

They're pretty readily available through most parts outlets.

It's sometimes hard to tell where the leak is coming from. It could be the thread between the bowl assembly and the tank but usually isn't. More common is for it to be the gasket between the glass and the meatal, or around the valve stem.

Before going looking for a new one or a gasket, you might try just tightening the compression nut, which is the hex nut that would appear to surround the stem (the part you're turning) of the valve. It won't go far or take much, and you may find that all you've accomplished is to make it so tight that you can't turn the valve and that it still leaks. If that's the case, you can learn how to repack the valve (quite simple actually and a neat little project, and while you're at it would be a good time to replace the bowl gasket and the screen inside the top of the bowl) or go ahead and thread a whole new bowl assembly in.
