Does anyone know anything about this tractor? There is one for sale nearby listed as a 1954 diesel. It is thought to be English and has PTO and 3pt hitch. No other hydraulics. Supposed to run great and have like new rubber. Tin OK. Price is CDN$2000. Do these tractors have any vices and is it possible to get parts for them?
Thanks for any info you can give. I would like to know a little more before making the ferry trip to see it.

Karl: The first British diesel I remember coming to Canada was the B-250, and I think it was 55-56. I just went to a site listing all the European tractors and the dates of manufacture. They don't list a B-210. First one of those 30-40 hp utility diesels listed is the B-250.

The B-250 was followed by the B-275, there was a B-276, then the B-414. After that they dropped the B and the next one was the 434 followed by the British assembled 444, then 384. There were some others in the 70s and 80s, most were the British chassis assembled at Louisville for the US market, not many of those ever made it to Canada, and none of them were 2xx.

I think you must have a B-250, transmission driven PTO, straight 5 speed, no dual range transmission. It does have 3 point hitch. Sheet metal is identical to the B-275.

Thanks Hugh. I phoned the fellow again and it is a B250. The B210 was a misprint in the ad I guess. Think I will go and have a look. It could be useful for running the tedder.
