I am looking to replace the front wheels on a 1929 10-20 mccormick deering, someone has takin the steele ones off and cut them up and welded a steel rim on to it, but it sat for almost 30 years and the rubber tires rotted off, then the steele wheels rusted out to where they are no longer useable, how would I go about finding the rite size steele rim thing to weld back on so I can put rubber tires on it again. The back ones are good yet it is just the front ones that i am looking for, However I am looking for a set of rubber for the basck though and the size for that is 12.75 x 24 Thanks in advance BOB

Not quite the precise numbers you need, but if you can figure out how tall of tire it needs to sit right with the rears and how much spoke you have left you can fit whatever rim works out - for that matter it's not hard to extend or reduce the spoke length if you need by just welding flat stock or cutting them to match.

I actually did that backward on a pair [going back to steel] for a Regular [many years ago] - actually brought them into a welding shop and by not having a required timeline they were able to charge basic hours rather than shop-rate, so it wasn't bad. They did note it was a bit cumbersome to keep the rim "square" with the hub, but certainly doable.
