806 oil in coolant... The saga continues...

Well I went out to start troubleshooting, and I found the radiator to now be below the core grate. I pulled out the dipstick only to find that the crankcase is now 2+gallons overfull. It was exactly halfway between the low and full lines when I parked it after working up. I've never heard of a leak in a heat exchanger large enough to dump that much coolant without any pressure. I may try pressure testing the coolant system to see where the leak is, but I think I am probably just going to let a professional do it after I make sure it isn't just the exchanger.

Do you have any bubbles in the radiator with the engine at an idle? Could be a cracked head if there is. Hal

Drop the pan so you can what you are doing. You will need to clean the pan and lower end after having contaminated oil in it anyway. Then do as The Tractor Vet said and pressurize your radiator. It won't take long to find out where your leak is.
