Rewired the 504 and Restored/Added Lights... Pictures

I gutted the wiring harness on my 62 F504 last year (it had burnt up more than once). I also added a 10SI one-wire to the mix. I removed the two headlights and the rear light to restore. I sandblasted, filled the pitting and holes, then sanded, painted, and made up new wiring. I could not locate the original style light body connectors so I used what I had.

When I installed my Koyker 220 loader (FEL) the original lights were about useless. So.... I built some light mounts for the loader. I used 2 pin plugs to disconnect them when I remove the loader. I know, some of the viewers are thinking, one limb and that is toast! The uprights are 1 1/2" square tube, 3/16" wall and the base is 1/4" flat held on with 4 - 3/8" stainless bolts per side. The lights are 55W each so I ran them through a relay to keep from burning up the switch (new).

I appoligize to some with slower connections, this may take a while. Got several pictures to load up.

I'd say , from what I see You did a good job on Your 504....Mine is a 1964, I'm lookin' for a loader setup, or possibly swappin' My Mahindra 350 for a Mahindra 450 that is a lttle older, still in very good condition, with a good loader, I need to knock the tops off a few of the Ouachita River Hills

Thank you, Wild Bill Caldwell. It is far from where I want it to be but I do a little at a time. One day I will finish repairing the final oil leaks and paint it up! I am not saying a Farmall 504 is the best vehicle for a loader, but it was cheaper than buying another tractor with a loader. If your 504 has a TA it makes loader work A LOT easier. Especially if yours has the optional high speed 1st and reverse like mine.
