I talked a friend of mine into buying a farmall cub (he loves it of course)we believed it to be a 47', staight exhaust out the top , ribs in the hood , etc. The serial # on the tag is stamped 1800, but we looked at another cub on the side of the road , same looking model & it's stamped 1800 too, what's up. Thank's

Thanks for the reply, it,s on the serial # line on the tag, the only # I see, where would I find the serial # . Again thanks for the help !!!

It would be on the same tag that you saw the "1800" also look for cast dates on the engine if i recall there is an easy one to spot right under the Carb, it should look like this 3-5-Q (month date year when that piece was cast) the years are represented by letters so Q=47 R=48 S=49 T=50 etc..... There are also cast dates found in other places too along the torque tube and on trans and final drives.

In addition to what Andrew posted, look for the engine SN behind the hyd lines (if installed), and we'll be able to get you closer to what you are looking for.
