706 diesel fuel pump

It depends on the tractor. Some diesels are sold "detuned" and make big gains in power when turned up. I don't know which engine you have in your 706. Some are sold already maxed out and you gain nothing by turning in the fuel head-screw unless you find a way to get more air in (intercooler and/or turbo. With some companies, they'll use the same engine in several model tractors with different power levels, and the only difference is the fuel setting. Unlike a gas engine, you can turn the fuel way down on a diesel and make an 80 horse engine into a 60 horse engine with no problems.

You have to take the top off the pump take the throtle linkage apart ,turn the engine over untill you see a allen head screw apear in the small hole at the bottom of the pump and give it a 1/4 turn that will give you more fuel.
