My steering post is bent as well

I've just recently noticed... my steering post on my '44 H is bent slightly to the right. A tree fell on the tractor while the owner was pulling it down. Mess up the steering wheel and the driver quite a bit. I'm going to replace the steering wheel, but I never realized the post was bent. It's just over a little bit, but enough to notice when I really look.

What do you think would be easier, replace or repair? I suppose it depends on where it's bent, but I can't tell by looking.

If it is bent less than an inch at the flange, or on the pipe(less likely) it will straighten OK. If more, heat might be needed. Show us a pic as level as the hitch pic and maybe a detail.
Putting a straight edge against it will also help.
A carpenters framing square would be great in the picture. JimN
