B 275 wiring and full restore at some point

i ave no idea about this tractor or any for that matter but ave my grandads that i would like too fix and restore he was always tinkering at it and there is a 12v single batterry in it and a mess of wires which somewhere is draining battery can anyone tell me how to connect ault starter and all that! thanks any and all info i will be very greatfull of

Gas or diesel, and what exactly do you want to know? It's basically a British/Indian tractor and many were made by Mahindra, who had a joint-venture with IH.

Very rugged tractor and pretty easy to work on. A few odd-ball things about it you might need to know.

its a diesel mate need to know for now the aultinator wiring diagrams pics anything

ault was tested yeserday and all is good new bushs and connections there is 3 terminal on ault wat is wat tho and connects to wer??

fitted alut didnt wire it up and started tractor tested terminals and no power coming out of any hmmmm confused!!!

mainly the problem is when tractor is left for a day or 2 battery is flat completely battery is ok charged and tested any info thanks

B275s were not made with alternators - just generators. So, if you've got an alternator, it's been changed and rewired.

ah right thanks how would i go about connecting this circut to the Alternator the system im guessin my grandad butchered together did work and id just like to renew but it is a complete mess

Need more info, but it's not complicated. Much depends on exactly what alternator you've got? Old Delcotron,Delco CS (Charge System), Delco SI (System Integrated), Hitachi, Bosch, Motorola, Nippo, Ford, Prestolite/Leece Neville, Lucas, etc. External or internal regulator? Give some specifics and then a simple wiring circuit can be explained.

hi thanks for the replys i had a look and its a lucas alt as for anything else im un sure heres some pics of the old lady

this was a cab that was fitted is this a standard add on????
