Gene Bender ..others...need cultivator help for BN..

I am trying to get the BN cultivators mounted and am dealing with a pile of parts....I can figure the general deal out but could use a pic of one with them mounted....they are hand lift....also I think its missing the rears...
also what is the deal with the pulley by the hand lift ?

I got them in a pile when I bought the tractor...but they were on the tractor...

Also are the sweeps still available??

OK i there is a pulley on the handle system you have an exhaust lift system and it wont work to lift by hand. You need the lever assy for hand lift as they are not the same. Give me a call ifn you care to as i doo have the assy s for hand lift. Are you going to use the rear tooling. Does the tooling bars where the shanks fasten have a solid piece of steel or are they pipe. The solid tooling bars makes it a B-238 The pipe tooling bars makes it a B-236. Those are the most popular models as there are others. Mite need to give me a call 319-430-3907 on my cell. Sometimes its easier to talk then to type. as always glad to help. Yes shovels are easy to get here in Iowa
 
A couple pictures of what you have would eliminate a lot of guess work in trying to help you. Besides the BN-236 and BN-238 that Gene mentioned, there is also the shifting gang BN-221 that was common in some areas.

Thanks for taking my call....I had a rough time hearing but got the general idea....maybe it was the tractor, the phones, or just me lol ....

I will take a pic next day or two so you can see what I have ....

I looked at Binder books and they list the following manuals that might fit me:
#1006563 ---- B-221 & BN-221

#MCD-5310 ----- B-238

As soon as I get an id, I'll order a manual and get those parts from you I need..
